Yes, cash donations are tax-deductible! Fireform is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a public charity recognized by the IRS.
In-kind goods or property donations may also be deductible. If you receive goods or services in exchange for your donation, only the amount exceeding their fair market value may be deductible. Please consult your tax advisor for guidance on your specific tax situation.
For donations of $250 or more, we will provide a written acknowledgment for your records.

Yes, we gratefully accept in-kind donations that directly support our mission, and that we are able to use effectively. This can take the form of food or drinks for events, educational materials and supplies, or venue space!
Because some non-cash gifts can create legal, storage, or administrative burdens, all in-kind donations are subject to review and acceptance by our organization. We may decline items that do not meet current program needs or that would create excessive cost or liability.
